Choose a Universal Mount for adjustable angle and depth, using a customer-supplied nominal 25 mm pipe. The Industrial Mount uses a nominal 40 mm pipe and is designed for demanding conditions.

Position with purpose.
Kasco suggests approximately 1,2–1,8 m depth for vertical operation, slightly shallower when angled, and at least 0,31 m above the bottom. Water depth and unit placement are different measurements; follow the manual for your site.

Have a qualified electrician confirm the supply and suitable RCD protection in accordance with local electrical rules.
Disconnect before handling.
Never enter the water while equipment is connected. Disconnect power before servicing. Never run the unit out of water or lift it by its power cord.
Mark the open-water area.
Clearly identify the opening in the ice. Moving ice, extreme cold and shallow water can limit protection.
